Summary
One Piecefans were eagerly awaiting the return of the Straw Hat Pirates to the center of the story. For weeks, the focus has been elsewhere to give the audience an idea of what is happening around the world. When the Straw Hats returned to the center of the story, it became clear that they would be involved in a massive incident.
The pirates, CP0,and Vegapunk’s satelliteswere cooped up inside Egghead Island when the Navy reached their destination. The pirates knew they would be safe inside the Frontier Dome, which had been closed by York. There was no easy way for them to leave, but the other satellites began to work to find a way to escape. However, things took a turn for the worse as Kizaru finally arrived at their location. The Admiral used his powers to defeat Sentomaru, after which he ordered the Pacifista to destroy the Sea Beast Weapons. Ultimately, Kizaru found the Straw Hat Pirates, but he didn’t get much time to think as Luffy immediately attacked him.

The Sabaody Incident
Kizaru is one of three Navy Admirals who loyally serve the World Government. He was introduced in the Sabaody Archipelago arc. The Admiral was sent by the World Government to save the Celestial Dragons and take action against the pirates who attacked them. Kizaru arrived in style on top of a cannonball and began demolishing the pirates.He took on several Supernovasby himself, and no one could hold their ground against the Admiral.
It didn’t take long for Kizaru to find the Straw Hat Pirates and begin his onslaught. The entire crew was helpless against his power, and if it weren’t for Rayleigh and Kuma, the Straw Hat Pirates would have most definitely died. Rayleigh kept Kizaru busy, while Kuma sent the Straw Hats to different locations. Now, two years later, the crew faces the Admiral yet again, and the big question is whether they can take him down this time.
Luffy’s Power
The Straw Hats have grown much stronger since their last altercation with Kizaru. Every single member of the crew has improved in terms of strength, and they showed what they are capable of achieving in the Wano Country arc. Despite the improvement, only Luffy stands a chance to beat Kizaru. The captain of the Straw Hat Pirates still remembers the time when he was powerless to do anything to stop Kizaru. The humiliation that he suffered gave him the motivation to become stronger.
Presently, Luffy has access to all three types of Haki and their Advanced versions. Luffy can see the future and destroy his opponents from within. In case he needs to increase the power of his attacks, he can simply imbue them with Haoshoku Haki.

If his Haki doesn’t prove to be enough, Luffy can always use his Devil Fruit Awakening. Luffy has dubbedthe Awakening Gear 5th. He considers it to be the pinnacle of his power, as it grants him more freedom than any of his previous Gears. With the help of Gear 5th, Luffy was able to beat Kaido and end the latter’s tyranny in Wano.
Kizaru’s Strength
After his dominant display in Sabaody, fans know that Kizaru is not a person to be trifled with. Even in the Marineford arc, Kizaru was unserious, yet no one was able to wound him. Marco kicked him, but the attack did no visible damage. Kizaru also attacked Whitebeard and managed to avoid being hit by the Yonko. Kizaru is proficient in two types of Haki: Kenbunshoku and Busoshoku. When Whitebeard used his quake, Kizaru and his two fellow Admirals used their Advanced Busoshoku Haki to disperse it. Kizaru seems to have mastered Kenbunshoku Haki as well, which allows him to avoid any critical attacks. This was evident in the Admiral’s fight against Sentomaru, where he avoided the latter’s attacks by turning himself into light and separating parts of his body.
There is no denying that Kizaru’s Haki is incredibly powerful, buthis biggest weapon is the Pika Pika no Mi. It is a Logia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to create and control light at will. Kizaru’s attacks become highly potent, and even a regular kick is able to destroy a massive mangrove tree. Kizaru has used quite a few named moves, but mostly he uses Yasakani Sacred Jewel in his fights. The attack creates multiple light beams that cover a large area and cause serious damage. Kizaru can even create a sword made of light and use it to fight his opponents.
Is Luffy Really 100 Times Stronger?
Luffy claimed that the crew had drastically improved since their last meeting. When he tried to kick Kizaru, the Admiral managed to block the attack. However, Kizaru realized that he could no longer remain relaxed. According to translators, in the Japanese version, Kizaru’s manner of speaking clearlyshows that the Admiralis serious. This speaks volumes, considering Kizaru has never talked in a determined manner.
He knows that Luffy is no longer the kid who was bullied in Marineford and Sabaody. Given their current strength, Luffy has an edge over his opponent, and he should be able to defeat Kizaru.
