With over a thousand chapters, the world ofOne Pieceis immensely vast, and there are tons of characters, who manage to grab the attention of the viewers. As the story progresses, fans get to see new characters, but it requires confining the old ones to very limited screentime. Some of these characters are absolutely incredible, and fans would love to see them back. Sadly, the reality is that they might never be a part of the main story again.

7Arlong

Arlong wasthe main antagonist of the Arlong Park arc. He was a very hateful person, who absolutely despised humans. Arlong’s prejudiced view blinded not only him, but many other people on Fish-Man Island. ​​​​​​Arlong only had a bounty of 20 million berries, but that was only because he bribed the Marines who watched over the Coconami Islands.

He was a strong opponent, and he made Luffy work very hard in their fight. Arlong was in no way lovable, but he perfectly played the role of a villain. After being defeated by Luffy, Arlong and his crew were captured by the Marines.

6Enel

Enel was a megalomaniac, who seized control of Skypiea by force. After destroying his homeland, Enel made his way to Skypiea and displaced Gan For from his position. Enel possesses the Goro Goro no Mi, which is a logia type devil fruit.

It allows him to create and control lightning, making him a very dangerous opponent. Enel’s rampage was stopped by Luffy. After his defeat, Enel left for the moon and helped the automata to fight the Space Pirates. Currently, Enel is the ruler of the automata, and it seems difficult that he would return to the earth, considering he found what he wanted.

5Marco

Marco used to be the First Division Commander of the Whitebeard Pirates, but they disbanded after suffering back-to-back defeats at the hands of the Marines and Blackbeard Pirates. For a long time, Marco’s whereabouts remained unknown until Nekomamushi decided to seek him out.

Marco played a very crucial rolein the Wano Country arcas the Straw Hats managed to bring down the alliance of Kaido and Big Mom. After the arc ended, the Red Hair Pirates invited Marco to join their crew, but he declined. Marco confirmed that he believes it is time for the next generation to shine, so it appears that he might not be a part of the main story anymore.

4Sogeking

Introduced as a character to provide comic relief in thevery serious Enies Lobby arc. After leaving the crew, Usopp adopted the alias of Sogeking to free Robin from the grasp of CP9. While pretending to be Sogeking, Usopp donned a mask and a cape.

Almost every Straw Hat knew that Sogeking was Usopp in disguise, except for Luffy. Nonetheless, Sogeking played an important role in the arc and he effectively started the battle at Enies Lobby as he was the one who shot down the flag of the World Government on Luffy’s orders. Sogeking also sniped the Marines from afar, which allowed Robin to get away. After the conclusion of the arc, Sogeking mysteriously disappeared, but he lives on via his legendary song.

3Paulie

Currently, Paulie serves as the vice president of the Galley-La Company. When he met the Straw Hats, he was one of the foremen, and he specialized in knots and masts. Paulie has an outstanding personality, which allowed him to win over the fans easily.

Paulie is very skilled with ropes, to the point where he has incorporated it into his fighting style. He allied with the Straw Hat Pirates during the Water 7 arc and helped them to defeat CP9 and retrieve Robin.

2Shiki

Shiki “The Golden Lion” was the captain of the Golden Lion Pirates. Before starting his own crew, Shiki used to be a part of the Rocks Pirates, but he left the crew after the God Valley Incident. Shiki made a name for himself and was considered one of the greatest pirates in the world.

When Shiki found out that Roger had turned himself in willingly, he went completely berserk. Shiki attacked Marineford by himself and destroyed a major part of it. He was later sent to Impel Down, but he managed to escape by chopping off his legs. Shiki hasn’t appeared in the story for a long time, and that is unlikely to change.

1Kalifa

Kalifa is aformer member of CP9, making her one of the major antagonist in the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arcs. Born into a long line of assassins, she was trained in their ways at an early age. Kalifa grew up to become a strong fighter and eventually was recruited into CP9.

Kalifa was selected to be a part of the secret mission to infiltrate Galley-La and find the blueprints for Pluton. In the Enies Lobby arc, she was defeated by Nami, after which she appeared in a cover story. She made an appearance inOne Piece: Film Red, but it seems unlikely that she will be involved in the manga ever again.
