Overwatch 2is deep into Season 3 at this point, having launched originally near the beginning of February. During that time, players have seen plenty oflimited time events and content arrive inside of Blizzard’s live service titleincluding a Valentine’s Day inspired dating sim called LoverWatch where Hanzo took up the duties of Cupid. Outside of that, Overwatch crossed over with One Punch Man, new bundles hit the shop, and fans were even invited to rally for their favorite team in the Overwatch World Cup.
As fans continue to work towards Kiriko’s Amaterasu mythic skin, Season 3 has at least one more trick up its sleeve with PachiMarchi. Pachimari, analien onion that originally appeared as a plush toy in the Hanamura arcade’s crane games, first arrived as its own limited time event last year around this time. This year, Blizzard is introducing a new game mode called Catch-A-Mari, which isOverwatch 2’s take on theCall of Dutymode called Kill Confirmed. Eliminate an enemy and make sure to pick up their dropped Pachimari to secure a point for the team.

In addition, simply logging into the event before it ends on April 4, players will also earn a unique “Hogimari” player icon as well.

Alongside the 3v3 Catch-A-Mari game mode, players will have 10 event challenges to complete, each one offering a specific cosmetic reward.
