Overwatch 2has released a new trailer revealing Junkrat’s new Legendary skin and more content to be available in the collab event with K-pop group LE SSERAFIM. The event starts on November 1, and players will get the Fawksey James skin for Junkrat, possibly through challenges. In this new look, the hero appears sporting a new haircut, gray clothing, and a beanie with pink details. In addition toOverwatch 2giving a new free Legendary skin, the shooter will add new Legendary skins for Tracer, D.Va, Brigette, and Kiriko as part of the crossover. Unlike their combat outfits, the LE SSERAFIM skins transform the heroines into K-pop fans wearing outfits bearing the name of the group andFearless, the title of the artists' debut album. Blizzard has not yet disclosed how much the skins will cost.
Along with Junkrat’s free skin and another look at Tracer, D.Va, Brigette, Kiriko, and Sombra’s skins, the new trailer showed five dance emotes that will be available during the event. TheOverwatch 2x LE SSERAFIM collaboration also includes a new limited-time mode called Concert Clash. In this 3v3 mode, players will take part in capture-the-flag battles while the music video for “Perfect Night” plays on screens in the arena.Overwatch 2players will see even more of the singers, asLE SSERAFIM will perform at Blizzcon 2023, presenting their single “Perfect Night.”
LE SSERAFIM is a five-piece group that debuted in 2022 and has since amassed hits such as “ANTIFRAGILE,” “FEARLESS,” and “Sour Grapes.” The collaboration could be a smart move by Blizzard to attract the attention of K-pop fans, known for their great devotion to their favorite groups, towardsOverwatch 2. It also adds to the list offuture crossovers forOverwatch 2, expanding the game’s possibilities into the music world.
