Ticket holders will have access to Diancie’s Special Research during the in-person and global portions of the event.Pokemon GOFest also marks the debut of Carbink, another Rock/Fairy-type Pokemon from Gen 6, which will appear on August 27 and 28. The event will feature bonuses including hour-long activated Lure Modules and an increased limit on Remote Raid Passes. Another new feature ofPokemon GOFest Global includes four habitats available on Saturday hourly with specific Pokemon spawns.

The Quartz Terrarium habitat will have Pikachu wearing a quartz crown, Heracross, East Sea Shellos, and Buneary, while Pyrite Sands will have Pikachu wearing a pyrite crown, Trapinch, Gible, and Joltik. The Malachite Wilderness will have Pikachu wearing a malachite crown, Roselia, and Oranguru. Pokemon GOFest is the most important event of Niantic’s game, and it always brings some news to players. Last year,Pokemon GOplayers encountered Shaymin atPokemon GOFest, withShaymin making its global debutalmost a year later. Diancie will debut inPokemon GOin a relatively similar fashion, which leaves an expectation for whether the mythical Pokemon will make a “second debut” as it happened with Shaymin.
