After some progress has been made inPokemon Legends: Arceus' main story, it’s important to return to Jubilife Village and check to see if there are new Requests. Like most games, completing sidequests isn’t required, but they offer different rewards that can aid players during the main story. Furthermore, those going for 100% completion will want to find and complete every sidequestPokemon Legends: Arceushas to offer.

Request 51 won’t appear until players are able to surf across the water with Basculegion. More specifically, players will need to have unlocked theCobalt Coastlands, and helped Palina and Iscan. In any case, onceBasculegion can be calledwith the Celestica Flute, go to theObsidian Fieldlandsand check to see if there’s a Request Icon onRamanas Island.

Where to Find Scyther in Pokemon Legends: Arceus

If Request 51 is available for grabs, players will see a Diamond Clan member named Hiemo, who’s gathering flowers on Ramanas Island. Speak to him, and he’ll want a “Pokemon with a scythe on each arm,” aka Scyther, the Bug/Flying-type Pokemon, andthe pre-evolved form of Kleavorand Scizor.

However, even if players have a Scyther in the Pastures, they won’t be able to give Hiemo the Scytherunless it’s in the Party. So, warp to one of the Obsidian Fieldlands camps, add Scyther to the Party, and return to Ramanas Island.

For those that do not have Scyther, the Mantis Pokemon can be found in a clearingto the rightof Grandtree Arena. If players want anAlphaScyther, go to thefar southof Grandtree Arena instead. It doesn’t matter what type of Scyther players add to their Party –they just need one to show Hiemo.

Speak to Hiemo with Scyther on the team. He’ll want to keep Scyther to help himgather flowers, but then he’ll realize there’s been a misunderstanding and “return” it to its trainer. As such, it doesn’t matter if players “give” him an Alpha Scyther (or even a Shiny) since he won’t take it anyway. This completes Request 51, and he gives a Seed of Mastery as a reward.

Request 51 Reward

Pokemon Legends: Arceusadds a different mechanic to combat. Pokemon can now “master” moves, which allows them touse Strong Style or Agile Style attacks. Using either Strong/Agile move will use 2PP instead of 1PP.

When a Pokemon first learns a move by leveling up or tutoring, the move won’t normally be “Mastered,” meaning they can’t use Strong/Agile Style. To master a move, players can eitherlevel up their Pokemonuntil they master said move, oruse a Seed of Mastery.

Seeds of Mastery are new items that will instantly “master” a Pokemon’s move. These can’t be used alone, so players will have to speak to Zisu at the Training Grounds and select “I want to master a move.” As long as aSeed of Mastery is in the storage, she’ll train a Pokemon of the player’s choice. Players can getmoreSeeds of Mastery by defeating/catching Alpha Pokemon, or by completing specific Requests.
