DeNA’s mobilePokemonspin-off,Pokemon Masters EX, has evolved and grown ever since its original release in August 2019. It brings together several characters across the franchise to participate in this one game. This includes iconic Gym Leaders, Elite Four members, Champions, and playable trainers to the Pasio Region. WithPokemon Masters EXcelebratingits 2.5-year anniversary this year, it will be receiving a special content in its newest feature, Victory Road.
While this feature has been live for a few days,the latestPokemonPresentsformally announced its inclusion in the game, alongside a bunch of other announcements for the franchise. During the 14-minute presentation, it revealed the next mainline entry Pokemon games coming to the Switch, as well as free content updates coming to games likePokemon Brilliant DiamondandShining Pearl, as well asPokemon Legends: Arceus.Pokemon Masters EX’s Victory Road feature was also given a small spotlight during this presentation, telling players a variety of rewards that will be coming to the game.

Players who are taking on the Victory Road mode shall be facing off against powerfulSync Pairs inPokemon Masters EX, all of them being various champions seen across the franchise. To assist with taking down these champion trainers, players will have the option of teaming up with either Sygna Suit versions of Red, Blue, or Green. Players who manage to complete this mode will receive 5000 gems as a reward.
To continue with thePokemonDay andPokemon Masters EXanniversary celebrations, there will be special Sync Pairs coming to the game. One of them is a special outfitted May paired along with Latias. Their ability allows them to turn the current field into Psychic Terrain and power up all Psychic-type Sync Pairs, and will be available from February 28 to March 31. Skyla and Tornadus will also debut with the ability to turn the area into a Flying Zone, which can help support Flying-type sync pairs. They will be available from March 2 to March 31.
The last of these special Sync Pairs coming toPokemon Masters EXwill be Raihan and his Dynamaxed Flygon, with moves like Sandstorm and Max Flare to create severe weather conditions. Players of the game who are playing now will be receiving a bonus that will get them a 10-Pair Ticket Scout, which allows them to scout up to 100 sync pairs for free. On a final note, fans who log intoMasters EXnow will also receive 3000 gems for free.
