The Pokemon Company is gearing up for some for big announcements in 2021. After all, this is the25th Anniversary of thePokemonfranchise, and what better way is there to celebrate than to give fans some new projects to look forward to. Nintendo announced today that there will be a presentation taking place on the official Pokemon YouTube channel tomorrow, and the news could answer some rumors that have been circulating in the Pokemon community.
2021 began with a few surprises forPokemonfans, including aPokemon25th Anniversary celebration video featuring a fun Rube Goldberg device and aseries of concerts headlined by Katy Perry. There’s already been updates toPokemon GOcontent for players to enjoy this year and even some special events forPokemon Sword and Shield. ButPokemonfans have bigger things on their minds than just updates and events and it is possible tomorrow’s Pokemon Presents will have answers to those questions.

The Pokemon Presents video will take place on the officialPokemonYouTube channel tomorrow on February 26 at 7:00 a.m. PDT, or 10 a.m. ET.Nintendoannounced the presentation on Twitter today, officially kicking off the countdown for fans eager for news concerning the biggest fan requests of The Pokemon Company. The presentation should be around 20 minutes long.
Most likely at the top of the list for fan requests are the rumoredPokemon Diamond and Pearlremakes. There are already several bits of information floating around this year that have hinted at the remakes, including some GameStop product listings and possibleleaked sound bites from theDiamond and Pearlremakes. Fans were crushed when noPokemonnews was revealed at the last Nintendo Direct, and it has only increased the anticipation for possible remakes of the 4th generation games on Nintendo Switch.
Other news that could possibly make the Pokemon Presents video would be more information on thenewPokemon Snapgame. Announced last year in June, the newPokemon Snapgame is a re-introduction to the originalPokemon Snapgame released for Nintendo 64 in 1999. The newPokemon Snapwill release on April 30 for Nintendo Switch and allows players to take pictures of Pokemon in their natural habitats and edit those pictures into works of art.
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that definitive news of theDiamond and Pearlremakes or more information about the newPokemon Snapgame will be at tomorrow’s presentation. Although some recentPokemon leaksfrom a reliable source stated fans wouldn’t have to wait long for “the big news [they’ve] been waiting for,” there is still a possibility that this information could be incorrect. Pokemon fans will know for sure tomorrow.
