Although players are able to capture Ditto in the overworld ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet, the upcoming raid will give players a chance to catch a Ditto with guaranteed five max IVs and different Tera types. The raid battle will happen during the same weekend as the second round of the Bug-type Samurott one and will run from June 04, 2025, 00:00 UTC until May 26, 2025, 23:59 UTC.
Some replies to Serebii.net’s Twitter post show that there are fans who are dissatisfied about the upcomingPokemon Scarlet and VioletTera Raid Battle. The community was likely expecting something more exciting, especially since the previous five-start raid featured the Pokemon Blissey. However, for players who are avid fans of breeding and trading Pokemon, being able to capture a Ditto with useful high stats will likely make the activity easier and much more valuable for their time. Players who also prefer to play competitively will be able to produce more powerful pocket creatures that will stand strong in future battles.
Given that Tera Raid Battles are such a great way to keep the player base active and engaged, fans ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetcan probably expect that more will be announced in the future. Hopefully the development team will also heed the various requests of community members and feature other popular Pokemon in the game’s next raid battles.
