Red Dead Redemption 2is an incredibly detailed game, and its fan content creators are often just as dedicated to creating intricate and thoughtful contributions to the community. Some people might underestimate how much detail can go intofan-made LEGO designs, and oneRDR2player created a simple yet accurate homage to the Wild West-themed adventure game using LEGO.

TheRed Dead Redemption 2community is full of people who love finding Easter Eggs and making their own contributions to the world of the game, whether that’s hunting downRDR2’s creepiest secretsor putting in the time to make seriously cool fan art. The tradition of using LEGOs to recreate scenes from popular games, films, and TV shows has been around for a long time, but this fan creator took it a step further by rendering a brand-new LEGO figurine in Blender.

Many creators loveBlender’s ability to render video gamefan-favorites, and Reddit user camerasandboots used the open 3D creation software to model and render a LEGO version of Arthur Morgan. The image shared on Reddit looks like a photograph of an actual LEGO, and clearly the user paid a lot of attention to making the texture, angles, and lighting in a digital image look like a real, three dimensional plastic toy.

SomeRDR2fans use real LEGOs to create the Navy Revolverand other items, but since a LEGO figurine of Arthur Morgan doesn’t already exist, this fan took it upon themselves to bringRDR2’s protagonist to (plastic) life. The figurine has Arthur’s classic brown beard and black cowboy hat ringed with a double cord. The horse and saddle even have a place for a small plastic rifle to fit, which looks like it could slot into place just like a real LEGO with multiple tiny parts.

Arthur Morgan riding horsebackis apparently a popular figure for artists to model, which makes sense given how central this cowboy is to the story ofRed Dead Redemption 2. Camerasandboots also says that they plan to model and render the rest of the Van der Linde gang, which could prove to be a sizable task given how many of Dutch’s Boys there are.

The comments on the original post are positive, which just goes to show how muchRDR2fans appreciate those who put the time in to show off their passion for the game via various skills like 3D rendering.

Red Dead Redemption 2is out now for the PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
