How to Fast Travel in Remnant 2
Fast traveling inRemnant 2is only possible if players have found and activated two or more checkpoints. There are two types of checkpoints in the game, namelyWorld StoneorWorld Shard. These are strategically placed around different locations in each of the game’s worlds and allow players to heal themselves. Players can simply approach these checkpoints and interact with them to fast-travel to their desired destination on the World Map.
World Stone
A World Stone is a large, fiery, glowing crystal, usually found outside or at the entrance of most dungeons. It acts as a checkpoint and a progress marker. Once activated, World Stones allow players to quickly travel to the game’s different worlds, orreturn to their main hub – Ward 13.Besides this, the World Stones also give players the option to join a multiplayer game.
By using a World Stone, players can access the region maps of all the worlds they have unlocked. Clicking on their desired area allows players to quickly travel to that place, no matter where they are located.
Players will not be able to fast travel to locations that are still locked. However, as they explore new areas, these locations will also be added to the checkpoint crystals.
World Shard
World Shards,on the other hand, are smaller fragments of World Stones that are scattered throughout multiple points in a dungeon. These smaller checkpoints have limited options – they only allow players to fast travel to Ward 13 or simply leave the dungeon.
If players aren’t sure where a checkpoint is located, they can pull up their map. Both World Stones and World Shards are highlighted.
