In the first chapters of Capcom’sResident Evil 2 (2019), players will have to fight their way through the Raccoon City Police Department (RPD) in search of a secret passage out of the station. After players are saved by Martin while returning to the main hall from the East Offices on the first floor, players will now need to find three medallions hidden throughout RPD that, when placed on the pedestal, in the main hall will reveal a secret staircase that will allow players to progress forward into the next part of the story.
Players will need to ensure they have inventory space available for these puzzle pieces, so any unneeded items (shotgun or magnum ammo,multiple combat knives, etc.) should be left behind for now and acquire when returning through these areas at a later point.

The Lion Medallion
The first medallion players can find inResident Evil 2 (2019)is located in the second floor of the main hall. At the top of the main staircase, players will find the lion statue. Simply interact with the statue and set the dials to display the patternLion-Branch-Eagle- confirm this pattern to acquire the lion medallion.
The Unicorn Medallion
The second medallion players can get their hands on is located in the Lounge on the second floor. After navigating through the third-floor west corridor for the first time and entering the library, players will get a radio communication from Marvin stating that the player needs to get back to the main hall immediately. Players will want to descend to thelower floor of the library, but instead of using the club key to head back to the main hall, head to the door at the southern end of the room, by the bottom of the large staircase.
There is one feeding zombie and three dead bodies that are about to turn on the lower library level, so be cautious with your movements so as not to aggravate too many enemies at the same time. Once through the door against the southern wall, players will find the Unicorn Statue on their left. Be sure to grab the second floor map directly ahead and the gunpowder on the stand to the right. When ready, interact with the statue and rotate the dials to display the patternFish-Scorpion-Vase. Confirm this pattern, and the Unicorn Medallion will become available for pickup. Players should now return to the main hall as Marvin requested, but take a pit stop at the pedestal to deposit the two acquired medallions.
The Maiden Medallion
The final medallion players will need is located in the west storage room on the third floor but will not be accessible until players have found the electronic gadget and the battery. Once players have crafted the detonator, they will return to the third floor and place thedetonator on the C4and move back to a safe distance. Once the charge blows, run into the caged room and interact with the maiden statue. Set the dials to the patternMaiden-Bow-Snakeand confirm the pattern to receive the final medallion. A licker and a zombie will have spawned in the west storage room, so be ready to fight after grabbing the maiden medallion. Return to the pedestal in the main hall and insert the last medallion to open the secret staircase.
