There are 20 of these collectibles hidden throughout the village and they are a great incentive to encourage gamers to explore every nook and cranny.
Anyone who destroys every Goat of Warding inResident Evil Villagewill receive the “Heretic” Trophy/Achievement. For a more practical reward, players will also earn 16000 CP to be used in the in-game Extra Content Shop. This will go a long way towards earning cool unlockables, or power-ups that will be helpful on higher difficulties. Players don’t necessarily need to go out of their way for the Goats of Warding during their first playthrough of the game. But on a second playthrough, it’s worthwhile to seek out these collectibles with a handy guide to use as a reference.

Many gamers will come across a few Goats of Warding during natural play. Some of them are placed in plain sight. They also make a wooden wobbling sound that can be heard from a short distance away. Some of the Goats of Warding are extremely hidden. The following list will show the locations of all 20 Goats of Warding with a short explanation of how to find each one.
(1/20) Graveyard Goat of Warding
The first goat is extremely difficult to miss. It’s in plant sight, enshrined near the main plaza of the village. This serves as a sort of tutorial to teach players about the Goats of Warding.
(2/20) Church Goat of Warding
Near the main village plaza is a churchwith a save pointinside. Atop the church is a goat that must be shot with a gun.
(3/20) Fallow Plot Goat of Warding
This goat waits atop a wall at the northeastern end of Fallow Plot. It’s best to search for this collectible after the events in Luiza’s House, when there are no enemies prowling the field.
(4/20) Vineyard Goat of Warding
In the vineyards prior to the first meeting with the Duke, this goat can be found tucked in amongst some rocks on the northern end of the field.
(5/20) Distillery Goat of Warding
In Castle Dimitrescu, players will have to solve acomplicated puzzle in the Hall of Ablution. A goat can be found at the bottom of the stairs that emerge afterwards.
(6/20) Attic Goat of Warding
Players will climb a ladder up to the Attic aftersolving the puzzle in Castle Dimitrescu’s Atelier. The next goat is atop a crate directly behind the head of that entrance ladder.
The first chance to grab this goat is afterescaping the lady of Castle Dimitrescu. A stone bridge extends between the Ceremony Site and the Altar and village proper. Some stairs lead down below the bridge, and the Goat of Warding will be found in a dark nook.
(8/20) Cemetery Goat of Warding
Withthe Iron Insignia Keyin hand, players can explore new areas around the village. Near the familiar church at the village center, this is a cemetery that was previously locked behind an iron gate. One of the goat collectibles is hiding beside a mausoleum at the southern extremity of the cemetery.
(9/20) West Old Town Goat of Warding
Ethan returns to the West Old Town area while searching for a house with a red chimney. Players with a knack for exploration will come upon a house marked with a violin symbol,where the Maestro’s Collection is hidden. This goat is perched atop a pile of wreckage and firewood tucked between the house and a nearby shack.
(10/20) Suspension Bridge Goat of Warding
On the way to House Beneviento, players will have to cross a shabby old suspension bridge. While proceeding west along the bridge, the player can look to their left to see another bridge in the distance. A Goat of Warding is waiting to be shot down upon that bridge.
