It is necessary to solve the room’s riddle in order to proceed, but the solution isn’t quite so obvious. Players will end up at the Hall of Ablution during the search for Rose and the masks needed to solve the bust puzzle and escape the castle. The Duke will tip Ethan off that Rose might be kept in the private chambers ofLady Dimitrescu, the mistress of the castle. The Hall of Ablution itself is dripping with morbid sanguine beauty.
