Summary
Fortniteplayers might see the return of one of the rarest skins in the game thanks to the addition of the OG Shop, as Samsung has contacted Epic Games, asking it to bring back the notorious Galaxy skin.Fortnitehas always been known for its wide variety of skins and emotes. While emotes are quite fun, skins tend to be the most desirable items among the community. There are even fan-made websites dedicated to predicting which skins will return to the Item Shop soon and how long it’s been since they were last seen.
The OG Shop was added toFortnitewhen OG Season was released. This shop will containFortniteskins commonly seen back in Chapter 1, and it’ll also contain remixed versions of classic skins. According to Epic Games, some of theseremixed items will actually be exclusive to Season OGand will not return to the game after it ends on December 3.
Recently, Samsung UK contacted Epic Games on Twitter and mentioned the Chapter 1 Galaxy skin. The electronics company asked Epic to bring back “the best skin”, and in the same post, it included a picture of this nowextremely rareFortniteskin. The Galaxy skin was introduced back in Season 5, and it could only be obtained by those who playedFortniteBeta on Android using the Samsung Note 9 or the Samsung Tab S4. This offer eventually came to an end and the skin became unobtainable, turning it into a fairly rare skin.
The Galaxy set includes the Galaxy skin as well as the Stella Axe harvesting tool, the Galactic Disc back bling, the Celestial trail, the Discovery glider, and the Llamalaxy spray. The skin is an Epic rarity, so if thisChapter 1 skincame back, it would be sold for 1,500 V-Bucks. However, all of the set’s items would likely be put together to create a Galaxy set bundle.
It’s possible that this skin wasn’t actually exclusive and that it would make a return to the Item Shop during its limited-time OG revamp. Unfortunately, the Epic Games Twitter account did not reply to Samsung UK’s tweet, so fans don’t know how likely the return of this skin could be. This could’ve been a teaser or just wishful thinking on Samsung’s part, but only time will tell.FortniteSeason OGwill be live until December 3, so gamers have until then to find out.
