Edward’s Bonus Spinning Roulette Game in Sea of Stars
In the Port Town of Brisk, there is a con artist named Edward who has a roulette wheel; unlikeMr. Chest’s Chump Change game, though, this one is completely rigged. It seems like no matter what number the player chooses, they end up losing the game.
In order to “win” this game, players will have to give into the grift and give Edward the money he wants in exchange for the Question Pack reward for winning. This will cost a total of 100 gold coins.
How to Win Edward’s Bonus Spinning Roulette in Sea of Stars
to win, players of thisclassic JRPG-inspired gameneed to play Edward’s B.S. Roulette at least one time. After they play and lose, they can head outside and meet up with a fortune-teller who is totally not Edward; theyjust happento have to same color hair, the same mustache, and the same exact cloak as Edward. This psychic will “predict” the next number, giving players the answer to the next spin. But in order to get it, players will need to pay out 90 gold for the pleasure of getting not-Edward to feed them the answer. The fortune-teller will not appear until the players have played Edward’s game at least once.
After talking to and paying him, head back inside to spin the wheel. As Edward spins the wheel, choose the number the “fortune-teller” gave outside. This will win the game and get players the prize:Sea of Star’s Question Pack number 2. This method of winning Edwards Roulette can be done before the Cataclysm or after; the game will still be around post-city rebuild.
Where to Use the Question Packs in Sea of Stars
Want to make use of that Question Pack that Edward gave up? Players will have to head back to the Town of Lucent in order to find someone called the Quizmaster, who wants these question packs. Use the Graplou paths to get to the second floor of the inn, then look for a treasure chest. Inside will be a Turbo Cookie. Next, head out of the Town of Lucent to the west and look for a ghost named Melee Matey. Give him the Turbo Cookie, and he will start someturn-based combatwith the player. Once he’s dead, search his body for the Key to the shed.
After picking up the shed key in thisretro-inspired game calledSea of Stars, head down to the bridge in the Town of Lucent that leads to the eastern entrance, and then look for the locked door. Head inside to find the Quiz Master and use those Question Packs.
