Firstly, the RTX 5090’s 500W TDP is 50W higher than the previous generation RTX 4090, and all 50 series cards will retain the 16-pin PCIe connector. The RTX 5080 also sees a 30W TDP increase from the RTX 4080, bringing the new card’s TDP up to 350W. Moreover, the mid-range RTX 5070 features a 220W TDP, which is 20W higher than its RTX 40 series counterpart.
