Although the roster of characters may seem small at first to a new player, the characters that a player gets to choose from in the gameSecond Extinctionwill play very differently from one another. As such, there is a play style for almost everyone.
The characters range from the heavy weapons character - mowing down everything in their path -to stealth and long-range combat. A player should just take some time to play through all of the different characters and see what they can do with each of them.

When dinosaurs die, they will drop all sorts of body pieces that will litter the battle arena where a player stands.Although a player may not realize this at first,it would be worth it to pick up these body pieces as a player goes.
Essentially, body pieces will be turned into Research Points after a player finishes a mission; these Research Points, in turn, will be what is used to upgrade a player. Additionally, picking up dinosaur parts will gain a higher star rating for the mission, which will increase the rewards gained.

Dodging will be a huge part of the game for the player when it comes to fighting off the mutated dinosaurs that plague the world of the gameSecond Extinction. Although it is not an immediate solution that could solve every single problem, learning how to dodge will very much solve alotof a player’s problems.
The dinosaurs that a player fights off are going to be relentless in their attacks,and it may not be possible for a playerto run away in time. As such, learning how to properly dodge will be very helpful in the long run.
4Always Aim For Weak Points
There are weak points on every dinosaur in the game. This is something a player should know, learn about, and memorize as they get into the swing of gameplay.

Every dinosaur will have a different weak spot - some of them willexplode when a player shoots the head,for example. Others, though, are weaker on the belly; it is up to the player to figure this out.

Rosy, essentially, is the heavy weapons character in the game - her abilities are incredibly useful, and her damage is insane.
Seeing as she sports both defense increase and regeneration of her HP,Rosy is one of the safest options for a playerto pick when they are just starting out in the game. It will be good to keep a player at bay until they improve.
