Another user added a bunch of texture mods to make the buildings and greenery to appear more crisp, as well as removing the helmets from Whiterun guards, which for any seasonedSkyrimfan, might seem rather odd. Not to mention, a mod that transforms the entire main menu screen into something completely different from the originalSkyrimmenu.
It’s amazing to see just how much mods can impact not only the visual appearance ofSkyrim, but also the nature of how the game is played and approached. Often times, modders will make entire new questlines for players to engage with. For instance, one mod allows for an epilogue to theDark Brotherhoodstoryline inSkyrim.
The fact thatSkyrimremains prevalent within the gaming community is quite impressive. Given the recent success ofSkyrim: Anniversary Edition,it’s surprising how many players are still actively playingSkyrima full ten years after its initial release. Though, many fans ofSkyrimhave been wondering when its sequel will release.
