However, not everything inSkyrimis sunshine and rainbows. There are many disturbing facts hidden in the world that aren’t for the faint of heart. One of these hidden details being a dead skeleton that appears to have another miniature skeleton within its stomach, implicating that the woman was pregnant when she died.

There has been some debate as to whether this meant that the woman was pregnant when she died. But, forSkyrimfans looking to form their own opinions and find the pregnant skeleton for themselves, here is the location on how to find it.
Skyrim Pregnant Skeleton Location
The pregnant skeleton can be found in Labyrinthian. Specifically, it should be lying on top of some rocks to the right of the Word Wall. For fans who don’t know, Labyrinthian is an ancient Nordic ruin that is located just northeast of Delas' Cottage and southeast ofMorthal. The area can be accessed as part of the Staff of Magnus quest inSkyrimwithin the College of Winterhold questline.
One of the current theories some fans have about this skeleton is that it wasn’t pregnant with the baby while they died. This is going off the fact that the miniature skeleton has a fully formed cranium even though those don’t fully form at birth, so the baby skeleton must’ve been previously born, implying that the adult skeleton was holding the newborn as they both died, and gravity caused the baby to fall into the stomach of the bigger skeleton. However, theSkyrimdeveloperscould’ve just shrunk the asset and placed it within the bigger skeleton, not fully thinking about its logistics to save time.
Some people were shocked that this distressing detail would be put into the game. However, many fans were not too shocked that Bethesda would include an Easter egg like this, especially in a game with a mature rating. There have been plenty of otherdark secrets inSkyrimthat developers tried to hide, such as eyeballs in Hagraven nests, the destroyed camp of the dead lovers, and the countless mass ritual suicide locations.
