In the sixty years since Peter Parker’s inception in Amazing Fantasy #15, the wardrobe of Marvel’s Spider-Man and his many variants has expanded an incredible amount. Ranging from alien symbiotes latching onto him or imbuing himself with the Enigma Force, to working with The Fantastic Four with a bag over his head or becoming the Ghost Rider for a time, theSpider-Peoplehave too many costumes to count.

Insomniac did an incredible job of including many of the most beloved suits in bothMarvel’s Spider-ManandMiles Morales. However, there are still some fan-favorite and more recent suits that did not appear and deserve to make their debut inMarvel’sSpider-Man 2.

Spider-Man Threats And Menaces Suit

8Threats and Menaces Suit

First appearing in The Amazing Spider-Man #61, this suit is gifted to Peter by previous Daily Bugle journalist Norah Winters, who hires him as a star in her new tabloid website Threats and Menaces while he’s desperate for a job.

To sweeten the deal, she offers him this new sharp-eyed white and orange suit, which comes equipped with a built-in camera feed to show off Peter’s battles to all of New York through his eyes. The suit is also made out of Reed Richard’s invented material Unstable Molecules, making the suit incredibly adaptable and resilient.

7Spider-Carnage Suit

Appearing inSpider-Man: The Animated Series, Spider-Carnage is an alternate version of Peter who willingly bonded with the Carnage symbiote, abandoning his morality to destroy all of reality. Unlike most symbiote-bonded suits, this suit maintains most of Spider-Man’s original costume but corrupts it with the psychopathic monster’s tendrils and teeth, creating an incredibly unique design.

Despite only appearing in The Animated Series, this design has become a fan favorite. While Carnage may not directly appear inSpider-Man 2, the focus on the Venom symbiote means the doors are open for Peter to wear manysymbiotic suits.

6Miles Morales #30 Tracksuit

Making its debut in Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30, this baggy tracksuit-based costume makes a stark change to Miles’usual tight spandex suitwith its loose hoodie and webbed leggings but maintains his classic black and red color scheme. The costume also features vibrant red sneakers, similar to his Nike Air Jordans featured in hisInto The Spider-Versecostume.

The costume was designed by Chase Conley as a celebration of Miles’ ten-year anniversary in the comics, and absolutely deserves a spot among the roster of costumes Miles can sport inSpider-Man 2.

5Across The Spider-Verse 2099 Suit

Previously,Marvel’s Spider-ManandMiles Moralesboth featured suits lifted directly from Peter and Miles’ appearances inInto The Spider-Verse, complete with cel-shading and film-accurate 24-FPS animation in Miles’ case. As both of these suits will likely return, anotherAcross The Spider-Versecharacter should also be included in the suit selection: Miguel O’ Hara’s Spider-Man 2099.

While a comic-book version of the 2099 suit did appear inMarvel’s Spider-Man, the animated film version is much sharper and more vibrant. This would make it a unique addition to the costume list, especially if the animation change is brought over fromMiles Moralestoo.

4Cosmic Spider-Man Suit

First appearing in What If…? #31, this version of Spider-Man acted as the Captain Universe of the time, becoming imbued with cosmic energy and holding the power of the eternal and all-powerful Enigma Force. Although it was short-lived, this version of Spider-Man is one of his strongest incarnations.

As a result, this godlike Peter was granted a starry, constellation-covered blue and white suit, with only the mouthpiece of his original costume visible. In-game, this suit could grant Peter the individual Suit Power of cosmic energy blasts, similar to Miles’ Venom Blast powers.

3Ghost-Spider Suit

Neither Peter nor Miles, Ghost-Spider is the alias of Earth-65’s Gwen Stacy, who became her universe’s variant of Spider-Man in the pages of Edge of Spider-Verse #2. After her Peter Parker becomesthe Lizardand dies by her side, Gwen is inspired by his death to go and use her powers to protect the innocent.

With a striking white, pink, and black color scheme, alongside her distinctive hood, Ghost-Spider stands apart from other Spider-People. With her recent boost in popularity as part of theInto The Spider-Verse, it would be a shame not to include Spider-Gwen’s outfit in Spider-Man 2.

2Superior Spider-Man Suit

After swapping his mind with Peter Parker and leaving Peter to die in his own cancer-ridden husk, Otto Octavius declares himself the Superior Spider-Man in The Amazing Spider-Man #700. Otto takes the legacy of Spider-Man into his own hands, criticizing Peter for holding back and even publicly executing a murderer to prevent further deaths.

Otto’s improvements to the Spider-Man suit include carbonadium plating across its surface, enhanced lenses equipped with a heads-up display, and four mechanical arms inspired byDoctor Octopus’ classic arms, in addition to a sleek black and red color swap.

1The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Suit

Asone of the most requested suitsfor Insomniac to add toMarvel’s Spider-Man, the suit worn inThe Amazing Spider-Man 2is a no-brainer for the sequel. The suit is beloved by fans for its comic accuracy, especially in its enlarged lenses, and its ties to Andrew Garfield’s performance as Peter Parker.

While Insomniac did add the suit featured in the firstThe Amazing Spider-Manto the first game, the noticeable lack of the much improved second suit makes it a necessary addition toSpider-Man 2.
