Alongside this announcement, THQ Nordic has also released three new trailers. The first shows off what players can expect from the remake, highlighting each of the game’s characters and their abilities. It first shows offSpongeBob, then Patrick, and finally Sandy, displaying each of their unique playstyles as well as how they’re used during different scenarios. The trailer does have one more surprise, however, showing off a small slice of the title’s new multiplayer gameplay, which seems to be a wave-based combat challenge that pits multiple players against numerous enemies.

The other trailers both concern the game’s collectors copies, with the first being for theShiny edition and the second for the F.U.N edition. Both collector’s edition trailers showcase a detailed statue of SpongeBob and his pet snail Gary, as well as a pair of themed Tennis socks, some art prints, and a pack of wall stickers. The F.U.N edition, however, has a few more items included that are shown in the trailer, including additional statues of Patrick and Sandy, as well as a set of tiki keyrings. Evidently, there’s a number of different options for fans looking to grab a copy of the exciting new game and these trailers look to show what fun goodies come in each one.
