As a game based on farming, seasons play a significant part inStardew Valley. Over the course of an in-game year, players will experience spring, summer, fall, and winter, and they must plan accordingly. While there are some multi-season crops, many only produce during a single season of the year and wilt once a new season begins. In addition to impacting crop growth, the time of year affects many facets of the game, with even the world surroundingPelican Town inStardew Valleychanging.

Recently, one gamer created fan art for the game’s seasons feature, applying it to the title screen for the game. In a Reddit post, a user known as veronicatheartist shared a collection of images showcasing these seasonal backgrounds. Each picture represented one of theseasons fromStardew Valley, with all the concept drawings including the game’s recognizable logo and the icons used to create a new game and load an existing one.
To differentiate the seasons, veronicatheartist gave each alternate title screen a unique background color to match the corresponding time of year. Spring featured a purplish hue, while the summer drawing had shades of blue. Even though winter also included a blue color palette for the background, the shades of the color were much lighter, giving it a snowy feel. Finally, the artist chose to give fall a darker background, even adding swirling orange and red leaves to add to the effect.
While it is worth pointing out that these alternate title screens are only concept art, that did not stop many fans from hoping for the idea to be implemented in a futureStardew Valleymodor update. The Reddit post has already gained hundreds of upvotes in only a day, with praise going to the addition of the little Junimo sitting on one of the title’s letters.
