How to Start Split Screen Mode On An Old Farm

Previously, to play with a friend on the same screen inStardew Valley, users had to install a special modification for the game that adds a split screen mode. If gamers already have a farm, they need to take care of a cabin for a friend. To do this, they need to go to the Carpenter’s Shop and buy one of the three cabins there. This requires 100 gold and the following resources:

After that, fans have to go to Carpenter’s Shop and talk to Robin, select Construct Farm Buildings, choose a cabin, and choose its location somewhere on the farm. The cabin will be built immediately. When gamers have a cabin on their farm, they will be able to launch split screen.
To do this, simply open the inventory, find and click the options button that is designated as a controller and click the Start Local Co-op button. Next, users need to connect a controller for the second player and click the menu button on it. After that, a user will have to create their character and will be able to join the game. If the player wants tocreate a new farmon which they will play with other friends in split-screen mode, then they need to select co-op on the main menu of the game. Then go to the Host tab and click Host New Farm. After that, players have to set up the farm and choose the number of cabins.
