Summary
OneStarfieldplayer and an apparent fan of the Caped Crusader managed to recreate the Tumbler fromBatman BeginsandThe Dark Knightin Bethesda’s newest RPG. Their achievement is just the latest in a long string of evidence testifying to the incredible potential ofStarfield’sship builder.
The ability to construct a spacecraft from the ground up is a completely optional feature of Bethesda’s latest game. ButStarfield’sship building and customization mechanicsare also among the RPG’s most intricate systems, having already inspired many creative players to engineer some absolutely majestic vessels.

The latest example of that trend comes from Reddit user navneet_hardaha, who recently went through the effort of recreating the iconic Tumbler from Christopher Nolan’s first twoBatmanfilms in the game. SinceStarfielddoesn’t have land vehicles, the replica took the form of a spacecraft, but the inability to equip it with wheels did not prevent its author from making the ship instantly evocative of Batman’s jet engine-powered road tank.
Although the player didn’t reveal how much this custom ship set them back, the fact that the end result of their engineering efforts spans only a couple of floors and is fairly compact overall plausibly puts it in the ballpark of 100,000 credits, depending on the exact Reactor class powering this flying Tumbler replica. The design has so far impressed hundreds ofStarfieldfans, enough to surface on the front page of the game’s most populous subreddit over the weekend. Many players in awe of the ship already asked for a tutorial on how to build it themselves, with its creator promising to share a parts list and component placement breakdown in the near future.
In the meantime, what’s already clear from the vessel’s appearance is that this Tumbler replica isn’t lacking in armaments, much like the armored vehicle that inspired it. Specifically, the ship seems to be packing missile launchers and pulse lasers on both of its sides, as well as what appears to be one of the Dangan cannons out back, mounted on top of its sizable reactor. So, even though its creator clearly prioritized nailing a particular aesthetic over function, the spacecraft still seems to be as battle-ready as they come.
This flight-ready take on the Tumbler is not the onlyStarfieldvessel based on the Caped Crusader’s vehicle fleet that the player base conjured up during the game’s launch month; a similarlystunningBatman-inspiredStarfieldshipmade the rounds on social media just last week, impressing many a fan with its Batwing-like design.
Starfieldis available now on PC and Xbox Series X/S.
