Summary

There are several different outfits you can obtain inAssassin’s Creed Odysseyto improve your character’s abilities. Every outfit is considered a legendary set of armor that comes with some stunning abilities and perks. Yet, not every outfit is made equally, as some are immensely powerful, while others are only mildly helpful.

InAssassin’s Creed,it can be just as much fun looking the part of an assassin as it is actually being one. Whether it’sworth the player’s timeto acquire a given outfit is ultimately a matter of personal preference. Here are some of the game’s best outfits when it comes to looking fantastic while demolishing one’s enemies inAssassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Celestial armor glowing eyes

Updated August 02, 2025 by Stephen LaGioia:Assassin’s Creed has given players the chance to be a Viking, a soldier, a pirate, and other colorful characters over the years. The distinct settings and plots set each game apart from one another, as do the themes (and thus outfits). Finding the right outfit isn’t just about looking cool: but finding a uniform or armor that holds the best advantages available. This is important given all the foes aiming to bring down one’s assassin hero. Ubisoft is close to capping off this action-adventure epic with the upcomingAC Shadows, which looks to beat evenOdysseyin scale. Still, many yearn for the rich, robust gameplay of the ARPG Origins trilogy, which has no shortage of armor. As such, we’ve revisited and restocked this list with more great-looking, great-performing armor in Odyssey.

13Celestial Suit

Total Armor: 12,783

The sleek, formfitting Celestial Suit stands out by almost every metric. With its unique style and stitching, it’s one of the least subtle, most dramatic, and most out-of-place outfits in the game. If the Celestial Suit has any serious flaw it’s that the outfit doesn’t fit with the overallOdysseyaesthetic, and for players interested in maintaining their immersion, it’s a bit of a deal-breaker.

That said, the Celestial Suit is excellent in terms of its actual abilities, granting the player a bonus to Assassin Damage, and extra Adrenaline when the player executes an Assassination Kill or gets a critical hit. The Celestial Suit also refills half of an Adrenaline bar whenever the player uses an Assassin ability, which makes spamming Assassin abilities a real possibility.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Master Assassin armor display by water

12Master Assassin’s Set

This simple black outfit is somewhat underwhelming aesthetically, compared to some of the game’s fancier and more eccentric outfits, but for players looking for an understated look befitting the Assassin they are, the Master Assassin’s Set may be just the ticket.

The Master Assassin’s Setbuffs intoxication — a glorified poison effect— which means it isn’t great for frantic, head-on fights but can be quite useful if the player plans on taking things slow. Intoxication does DoT as well as debuffing the intoxicated enemy’s attack and defense, making them easier to kill overall. The Master Assassin’s Set also removes the Vanish Ability’s Adrenaline cost and causes it to intoxicate enemies, enabling the player to eliminate groups of enemies without directly confronting them.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Arena Fighter up close

11Arena Fighter’s Set

Total Armor: 14,059

To claim victory as a fighter in the arena demands high survivability, so it’s fitting that the Arena Fighter’s Set makes survivability a priority. Whenever the player uses an Overpower ability to injure opponents while wearing this outfit, theplayer regains health equal to half of the damage they dealt. The Set also gives the player avariety of miscellaneous weapon buffs, which is nice if one is in the habit of constantly swapping weapons and doesn’t want to have to change their outfit every five minutes.

It’s always nice when the road to unlocking a given outfit is neither painful nor tedious, and clearing the Pephka arena fights to unlock this outfit is a great deal of fun, which is another reason to recommend it. It’s not like the player needs much extra incentive to beat up a horde of enemies and prove themselves to be the best fighter in town, but having a shiny (and genuinely useful) outfit waiting is just as nice as getting some intriguing lore.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Nemean Lion up close

10Nemean Lion Pelt Armor

Assassin’s Creed: Odysseyis acompelling mix of history, mythology, and original fiction, and the presence of the Nemean Lion in the game (as well as the Nemean Lion Pelt Armor) is a great example. Players running Warrior builds will want to consider seeking this outfit out, since the Nemean Lion Pelt provides several potent bonuses in that area, including buffs to health and crits.

The only real downside is that the best benefits offered by the Nemean Lion Pelt Armor require the player to be at full health. If the player gets injured, the valuable bonuses to crit damage and crit chance disappear. This makes wearing the armor a bit of a gamble, since the player’s defensive awareness will have to be top-notch if they want to make the most of their Lion suit.

AC Snake armor set in battle shooting arrow at tough foe

9Snake Set

This intimidatingCult of Kosmosarmor set may not look too strong from a defensive standpoint, but it boasts a number of nifty tricks up its sleeve for stealthier players. Players can creep up on foes and whittle them down with deadly, snake-like purpose when wearing all pieces of this set, with Intoxicated and Weakening bonuses.

Complementing this are the separate perks of each piece, which bump upAssassin Damage by 25%,along with Poison damage and Elemental buildup. A couple pieces also bring extended Intoxicated duration by several seconds, which can go a long way when inflicted over and over.

AC Odyssey Pilgrim Armor set display male and female

These features are great for crowd control as well as those who favor long-range. Players will be a dangerous damage-over-time dealing assassin when slithering into this gear.

8Pilgrim Set

This one can be a bit tough to come by as its locations are entirely random — though it’s worth keeping an eye out for. It’s tailor-made for those who like to play the game as a true stealthy assassin hidden in the shadows and ready to strike. It yields a great set bonus thatremoves 100% of the Adrenaline consumptiontypically eaten away by theShadow of Nyx Ability, which yields invisibility while out of conflict.

The separate Pilgrim Set pieces are also not too shabby in their own right, bringing several boosts toAssassin damage and adrenaline, allowing players to attack in style (and doing so lethally). The boots add a solid40% movement, which nicely complements the Shadow of Nyx boost.

AC Odyssey Greek Heroes display male and female

7Greek Heroes

Total Armor: 14,049

This sleek and bulky armor is a solid choice for those looking to play a more offensive game and clash against enemies directly. Players will be able to weather various enemy attacks thanks to its resistance-heavy set bonus. This is supported by the individual armor plates, whichboost total armor, increase melle and elemental resistance, and tack on extra health.

ThePerseus Crownstands out for its trio of buffs which includes25% added Warrior damage, 15% added damage with Warrior abilities, and a good chance to ignore half the damage taken. This is truly the armor of a Greek super-soldier.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey - Fallen horned helmet and bird up close

Players will need to take out a number of Mercenaries to obtain it all, though, including those with the sobriquets “The Flash”, “The Frenzied”, The Translucent", “The Resplendent”, and “The Lucky Drunk.”

6Armor of the Fallen

Total Armor: 13,367

The requirements for getting the Armor of the Fallen are stiffer than those for most other outfits in the game. The good news is that the journey itself is enjoyable, so at least the player won’t be tearing their hair out as they complete the quest for this stylized and filigreed set.

The Armor of the Fallen is a critical component ofThe Fate of Atlantis DLC,so it’s not surprising that two of its main benefits are health bonuses in the Tartaros Rifts and the ability to pass through the Tartaros Veil. Needing a specific outfit to progress through the main story feels bad when that outfit is hideous or has mediocre buffs, so it’s nice that the Armor of the Fallen holds up its end of the bargain on both fronts, helping the hero cut through their foe with ease.

ACO Agamemnon armor display

5Agamemnon

Made for one of the greatest commanders in Greek mythology, Agamemnon’s set is a great outfit for melee brawlers. It hashigh defense stats and bonuses to warrior damage.

What really sells this armor, however, is the focus on improving fire damage over time. The entire set grants an additional burning rate of 50% and provides several boosts to fire damage and duration. For those who like towield powerful fireas they brawl with their enemies, this is a great set of armor.

ACO Athenian War Hero armor display

4Athenian War Hero

The Athenian War Hero set has some great armor stats for keeping its wearer alive, but what makes this armor set special is how much it boosts bow fighting. The armor’s perk causes all arrows to pierce shields when fired, which is tremendously useful when going against heavily armored opponents insome of the game’s more frustrating missions.

The other bonusesincrease Hunter damageand provide boosts for headshots, charged shots, attacking Spartan Soldiers, and how long it takes to charge the bow. Those who like to use a bow and engage in ranged combat will find this to be a solid set of armor to use.
