Once the baby is born, players can change their gender in the CAS mode. The first step is to open the cheat console by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C. Once the box pops up, type"testingcheats true"in there. This code will activate cheats in the game. Now, type “cas.fulleditmode” in the dialogue box toaccess the Create a Sim mode.
After that, go to the Sim whose gender needs to be changed and simultaneously press Shift while clicking on the Sim. From the available options, select"Modify in CAS". This will take players into the CAS mode for that specific Sim. With this, players are free to change the gender of their Sim. All they need to do is click the male and female gender icons above the ‘three dots’ icon and make their desired changes. Players can change the gender of a male Sim to female and vice versa.
Remember that this method is feasible only after the baby is born. Players can’t use it for a pregnant Sim and expect them to have a baby of their choice in the future.

If gamers wish to have a baby boy, they need to feed carrots to the pregnant Sim and get them to listen to the Alternative music genre. On the other hand, if players want a baby girl, the Sim needs to eat strawberries and listen to pop music.
