The Wolf Amount Us 2has finally been unveiled in a brand-new trailer. The firstWolf Among Us, developed by Telltale games, was released in 2013, and was an adaptation of the graphic novel seriesFablesby DC Comics’ Vertigo imprint. After the critical success of the original game,Telltale green-lit a second season ofTheWolf Among Us, which fans have been patiently waiting for ever since.
The Wolf Among Usfollows the story of Bigsby Wolf, a sheriff solving murder cases in Fabletown, a small community in 1980s New York populated by fairy-tale creatures and characters from popular folklore, such asSnow White,Beauty and the Beast, and theThree Little Pigs. The game, like many other titles published by Telltale Games likeThe Walking DeadandBatman: The Enemy Within, was releasedin an episodic formatto generate excitement for each new episode.

The initial tease ofThe Wolf Among Us 2wasrevealed at The Game Awards 2019, sometime after Telltale’s original studio closed, before it was revived by LCG Entertainment. However, since its first trailer, word was quiet about when players would be seeing new information regarding the sequel. Now, Telltale has revealed a brand-new trailer forThe Wolf Among Us 2, showing what Bigsby Wolf has been up to since players last saw him.
As part of a livestream hosted by Geoff Keighley, Telltale unveiled the new trailer that showcased a short scenario unfolding where Bigsby attempts to apprehend characters based onThe Wizard of Oz, such as the Tin Man and the Scarecrow, while cutting between other scenes of Bigsby taking part in a therapy circle. This follows through on Telltale’s claim thatThe Wolf Among Us 2will be exploring new fablesand how Bigsby solves the cases surrounding them.
While there are stillrumors and theories abound regarding Bigbsynext case, players are sure to be excited that another trip to Fabletown is on its way and soon, with the game also slated to be releasing next year. Players have been kept in the dark regarding the game for quite some time, it’s exciting to know thatThe Wolf Among Us 2is finally happening. It’s now only a matter of time until other Telltale titles make a return as well.
