Version 1.0 ofVampire Survivorshas finally given players a final stage to play, along with a final boss. The final stage is called Eudaimonia Machine, but, like most of the secrets in the game, it will need to be unlocked. The stage itself presents a bit of a challenge, and the final boss is not easily beaten.

Unlocking this stage is something longtime players will probably already have accomplished. Beginners, on the other hand, will have to play for a few hours to complete this part of the process. The stage itself is quite small, but unlike any stage in the game exceptHidden Ground. There are no enemies to fight, at least not initially, and just one creature with which to interact: the Mysterious Entity.
How to Unlock Eudaimonia Machine
Unlocking the final stage ofVampire Survivorsis done bycollecting every relic in the game- except the two obtained in Eudaimonia Machine.Beginners have a long road ahead of them, as there are eleven relics to collect. When players collect the stage relics, like the Grim Grimoire, they can exit the stage as soon as the relic is obtained; completing the run isn’t necessary. Doing this will make collecting all of the relicstake a lot less time.
Completing Eudaimonia Machine
When first entering Eudaimonia Machine everything seems peaceful. After a short walk upwardthe player encounters the Mysterious Entity. After Interacting with this shadowy shrub with hands, the player is given several text windows with garbled writing. Eventually, a text window opens that asks the player if their experience has been “Too Easy” or “Too Hard”. It doesn’t matter which is chosen, as they will both need to be selected before completing Eudaimonia Machine.
Selecting either “Too Easy” or “Too Hard” will send the player back to the title screen. If “Too Easy” is picked the background images in the title screen will be inverted. With “Too Hard,” the background images will be removed entirely. After selecting “Too"Easy,” the player is awarded the Gracia’s Mirror relic. Thisunlocks Inverse Mode.

Players should then begin a run on any stage with Inverse Mode toggled on and exit the stage as soon as it starts. They can then return to Eudaimonia Machine and get the other relic, Seventh Trumpet, whichunlocks Endless Mode. Now, the player needs to enter any stage on Endless Mode and once again exit the stage when it starts. Upon doing so, they should go back to Eudaimonia Machine once again.
The Director
On the third visit to Eudaimonia Machine,the Mysterious Entity challenges the player to a fight. The Director alternately moves toward and away from the player in a pattern. There are weaker enemies that also attack, which players should defeat to collect experience gems. The player is free to select any character for this stage, butRed Death or Leda are good picksdue to their generous passive bonuses andexcellent starting weapons.
When leveling up, the player should try to get long-range or direct-fire weapons likethe Magic Wand and Whip. The White Death will make a few appearances, sogetting the Tiragisu passive itemwill help keep the player in the fight. Torrona’s Box, Spinach, Candelabrador, and Empty Tome are some other useful passive items to get for this fight.
The Director has a lot of hit points, so itwon’t be defeated quicklyno matter which character is picked by the player. Periodically, continuous jets of flames will fill the screen. This happens more frequently as more damage is dealt to the director. They will fade after about ten seconds, so players should just avoid them until they do. Eventually, the Director will run out of health, which will result in the player being rewarded with a victory cutscene and the Greatest Jubilee weapon being unlocked.
