The transmogrification system inWorld of Warcraftallows players to design a wide variety of costumes for their character, and it would seem that a Justice League band of lookalikes are roaming the streets of Stormwind. With Patch 10.0.5 allowinggrey and white item transmog inWorld of Warcraft, appearance choices will open up even further. WhileDragonflighthas proven to be a good expansion in the eyes of the community, many fans are especially elated over the customization options the newWorld of Warcraftchapter introduced.
Transmogrification competitions have become an official part of the game through the biannual Trial of Style event, andfamousWorld of Warcraftstreamer Asmongoldregularly hosted transmog competitions during some of the worst content droughts inBattle for AzerothandShadowlands. While the inaugural season ofDragonflightis in full swing, it doesn’t stop people from putting together amazing costumes and outfits for the hours when they’re not actively trying to take down Raszageth or complete that Ruby Life Pools Mythic+ dungeon on time.

According to EndlessResets, their friend ran into the Justice League in Stormwind, and the incident was shared on theWorld of Warcraftsubreddit for all to see. What makes the costumes so impressive is not only their accuracy, but also the fact that several of the Justice League’s most popular members are present. Beyond Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, The Flash, and Aquaman, the Justice League of Azeroth also features the Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, and Zatanna.
WhileWorld of Warcraftplayers reacted positively to the superhero lookalikes, with some even suggesting a mechagnome to pose as Victor Stone/Cyborg, the recently announcedJames Gunn reboot of DC’s Cinematic Universeis still in the back of every DC Comics fan’s mind. The cancelation of projects such asWonder Woman 3, and the abruptness of Henry Cavill’s return and departure from theSupermanrole has the community worried about the cinematic future of their favorite superheroes.
As a contrast to the state of panic and worry present among DC fans,World of Warcraftplayers are enjoying their time on the Dragon Isles – from Dragonriding to dragon raiding, there’s plenty to keep them occupied regardless of skill level. Blizzard Entertainment has established a new direction inDragonflightfollowing the shortcomings ofShadowlandsandBattle for Azeroth. With six planned content updates announced in theWorld of Warcraftroadmap for 2023, it would seem that the developers are moving forward in that direction with full confidence. Hopefully, DC fans will be able to enjoy that same sense of comfort in a few years from now.
