Xboxis now ready to embrace the season, joining in on the industry’s expanding Halloween festivities. TheXboxstorefront has kicked off Shocktober, its annual Halloween sales event. This year’s Xbox game sale is advertising discounts of up to 70% off and features over 200 different game listings. Further, it includes games that are playable across the Xbox console platform, with titles that run on Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. Xbox’s Shocktober sale should last two weeks, through November 4.
Headlining the Shocktober sale are several major game releases. The most prominently featured game on sale being theDiablo Prime Evil Collection, which bundles togetherDiablo 2: Resurrectedwith theDiablo 3: Eternal Collection. It’s discounted 30% off, dropping the price to $41.99. Other prominently featured games includeCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold War,Destiny 2: Beyond Light,Borderlands 3: Ultimate Edition, andResident Evil Village.

The Shocktober sale name isn’t just for show, either. The sale focuses on games that fit the season, either in the horror genre or featuring content that can be frightening, dark, or tense. That includes horror games like the asymmetrical multiplayer gameDead by Daylight, discounted to $14.99, theBioShockcollection for $9.99,The Medium,The Evil Within 2,Little Nightmares, and more. There’s even discounted Halloween DLC, likeThe Sims 4’s Spooky Stuff Pack discounted 25% off to $7.49.
Several major horror franchises are also well-represented in the Shocktober sale. It isn’t justResident Evil Villagethat’s been discounted, but the full series.
