OneZeldafan has made real-life dishes based on those found inThe Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. While the meals that Link can prepare inBreath of the Wildcan replenish hearts, refill stamina, and add various effects, the real-life equivalents made by this fan look just as delicious.

Even though manygamers have been focused onTears of the Kingdomfollowing its May release, many aspects of the highly-successful sequel originated inBreath of the Wild. Among the gameplay mechanics found in the first game is cooking. Using this mechanic, Link can use various materials found in the game world to cook food. In addition, there are a number of different recipes that can be prepared by cooking with the right combinations of ingredients. Recently, one fan decided to make some of these dishes in the real world.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as MothersOfMars shared a collection of images, revealing several meals he and his wife had made based onBreath of the Wild. Based on the pictures, the Reddit user prepared real-life versions of Cream of Vegetable Soup, Meat and Mushroom Skewer, Mushroom Risotto, and Mushroom Rice Balls. It’s worth pointing out that the first image also included a bottle that looked similar to the ones that storeElixirs inBreath of the Wild.

Beyond showing off theZelda-inspired food, MothersofMars gave some context behind the culinary project in the Reddit post. According to the Reddit user, he and his wife decided to make thesemeals based onBreath of the Wildin the days leading up to the release ofTears of the Kingdom. Despite saying that they are not “culinary geniuses,” the dishes looked appetizing and captured the essence of those found in the game. In addition, they took creative liberty with some of the meals, such as adding what looked like green beans to complement the Mushroom Rice Balls.

Unsurprisingly, these meals inspired byBreath of the Wildwere popular withThe Legend of Zeldacommunity on Reddit. In less than a day, the post has gained more than 1.4K upvotes. In addition, numerousZeldafanshave commented on the meals, with many making light-hearted jokes. For example, one user suggested they should try to make the meals just like Link by throwing all the ingredients into one large pot. Furthermore, another gamer even joked that MothersOfMars and his wife should attempt to make the infamous Dubious Food.

WithTears of the Kingdomnow available, it will be interesting to see if MothersofMars and his wife decide to make more dishes inspired by the sequel. Regardless, many players have already shown their creativity in the latestZeldatitle. For example, gamers have been making incredible vehicles inTears of the Kingdom, such as a workingtrain inspired byThe Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks. Based on the current popularity of theZeldafranchise, it seems fan creativity won’t be in short supply any time soon.
