Reddit user Quirky_Image_5598 recently shared a clip of their incredibleZelda: Tears of the Kingdommining machine. Before activating the Ultrahand creation, the player moves it into place and usesZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Recall abilityto simplify stepping onto the control platform. The machine has two big boulder arms that are attached to a central unit that has two wheels spinning in either direction which creates arm movement. Four wheels move the unique build forward and Quirky_Image_5598 demonstrates that it can easily turn around as well. Using a steering stick, Link moves the mining machine into a large chunk of Zonaite that is quickly broken down into materials.
According to Quirky_Image_5598, their build is an alternate take on the Whirling Basher schematic that’s found in a Yiga hideout.Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Zonaitecrumbles around the mining machine as its arms batter the rock. Though the video showcases the machine’s effectiveness, the game will limit how many items are on the ground to 21. Because this rule affectsZelda: Tears of the Kingdomweapons, food, and resources equally, some Zonaite disappeared after being mined. This means that Quirky_Image_5598 wasted lots of Zonaite in mining with their machine compared to the traditional way of earning Zonaite.
Although much Zonaite was lost toZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s item limits, it may have produced better results if paused between increments of 21. While it can’t be used for much beyond mining ZonaiteinZelda: Tears of the Kingdom’s Depths, Quirky_Image_5598’s mining machine could provide a speed boost to a laborious aspect of the game.
