One fan has created an aircraft withinThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthat will seemingly run forever. WhenThe Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomwas released earlier in 2023, fans were excited to see the sheer number of customizable options available in Link’s latest quest, thanks to his new Ultrahand and Fuse abilities which allow games to attach various building materials together in order to create almost anything.

In the months since the follow-up to 2017’sBreath of the Wildwas released, Nintendo’s latest open-world adventure has seen fans take to social media to showcase their impressive builds. OneTears of the Kingdomplayer has shown off a self-propelled battle boatthat can be driven on land to take out hordes of Bokoblins. As players have been finding out, the vehicles are powered by Zonai batteries, which have a limited lifespan and will eventually run out.

One Reddit user by the username LunisequiouS has figured out a way to circumvent the Zonai drawback by creating a fully self-sufficient aircraft. In a video clip uploaded to theTears of the Kingdomsubreddit, LunisequiouS showcases an aircraft that uses electricity to take to the skies. The build utilizes conductive materials that can be found throughout the land of Hyrule and is activated when Link steps onto the control pad. It must be noted that Link needs to be wearing a shield with a shock emitter fused to it to complete the circuit so the player can take off.

Fans within the subreddit are understandably impressed with not only the build but that sustainable flight can be maintained during Link’s adventure without the worry of having to stop or add additional batteries to the aircraft. Up until this point, players had tofarm Zonai batteriesto create a flight that can be sustained over a long distance.

Unfortunately for players, Nintendo hasn’t enabled players to download or share customAutobuild schematics. Fans looking to recreate this flying contraption will have to examine the video closely to hunt down the materials needed to replicate it.

Despite the omission of being able to share builds, Link’s latest adventure in Hyrule continues to be a playground for gamers. People are able to create almost anything they can imagine using the resources available to them. OneTears of the Kingdomgamer managed to repair Zelda’s bridgeusing the recall ability and a dragon scale. The build took nearly two hours, but much like the flying machine from LunisequiouS, is another example of just how openTears of the Kingdomis.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomis available for Nintendo Switch.
