OneLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomplayer showcases how to use the game’s weapon fuse mechanic to create a working whip. While it was a surprise to many that Nintendo essentially completely removed the previous Sheikah Slate abilities,Tears of the Kingdomseems better off in the long run. As detailed in adeveloper walkthrough prior to the launch ofTears of the Kingdom, players now have a variety of powers that really provide fans with a unique experience.
The new set of abilities Link has access to including Ultrahand, has proven to be a major fan favorite element. One of the major new additions is fuse, a technique that allows players to create all sorts of things on the fly from weapons, to vehicles, and evenaLegend of Zeldamechof all things.Tears of the Kingdomhas seemingly taken that player expression element fromBreath of the Wildand really expanded upon it. Players have been posting all sorts of creations since launch and one such fused weapon gives Link access to a more unique tool.

Over on theLegend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomsubreddit, a user named Comprehensive-Toe633 posted a very short clip of a newly fused weapon they had created. Calling it their favorite fuse part to use, the video showed Link swinging a whip type of weapon. In this case, the fused part was a tail from a Green Lizalfo that is applied to the top of the weapon, giving it a whip effect.
Comments on the thread were very positive regarding this discovery and the unique animation it provided with some comparing it to a party noisemaker or a makeshift weapon thatfans would see in a franchise likeCastlevania. Others provided some other tips and tricks including hunting horns from Blue Lizalfos as they not only add a substantial amount of power, but gives off a sort of katana style look when fused to a weapon.
While there are some recently showcased creativity from theZeldacommunity that tends to be a bit outlandish, one player provided a more practical solution for one of the game’s basic activities.Taming wild horses returns inTears of the Kingdomand some of the mounts can be difficult to unlock. to restrict the space of where the horse can go, one player created a small corral that can be deployed, allowing Link a better chance to capture it without losing control.
